Youth Self Defense (Ages 6-11)

Mountain Wellness Studio

Alpine Grappling, in partnership with Mountain Wellness Collective, is now offering comprehensive martial arts classes designed to teach youth the essentials of self defense philosophy and real-world skills. Students will get an introduction into various martial arts, explore aspects of common scenarios and practice the most applicable techniques. Through ongoing education and a personalized approach to each students’ needs, this program will help boost your child’s confidence, discipline and self-esteem in addition to developing their physical and mental capabilities.

Adult Striking

Mountain Wellness Studio

Derived primarily from Vietnamese and Korean martial arts, this class includes practice in the traditional forms as well as their contemporary applications.

While much of the instruction resembles kickboxing, students will refine striking and defending with all parts of their body and takedown and grappling techniques are included.

Students will train techniques first in isolation and then advance to non-contact partner drills. Sparring is NOT included in this class at this time.
